Hi everyone, It’s been a long time. I can say I am back again. As 2015 is coming to an end, I count my blessings and name them one by one. Permit me to testify: last time I posted I was “Miss O.”, now I am “Mrs. M.” 2015 has been a beautiful year for me. There were battles, but God gave me victory.
(Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but the Lord delivered him out of them all. Psalm 34:19 KJV)
There was a heavy downpour two days ago, and everyone got a refreshing break from the heat. It’s the peak of summer here, and it has been blazing hot. We even had one or two heat waves. It gave me a quick reminder that hell will be worse. I pray God give me the grace to be a faithful Christian till the end.
I love looking at the rain from my window (a habit from childhood), I could not on this particular day, because I came home in the rain. By the time I looked outside my window, I saw the most beautiful colour in the sky- RAINBOW. I don’t know why, but I am always drawn to its beauty- God’s own ART. I instinctively brought out my phone and took a snapshot. I remembered the story of Noah, the ark and the flood. Rainbow was God’s promise after the flood.
I was motivated by the rainbow. God put it in my heart to encourage you that no matter how bad the storm has been, the sun is about to shine. Your rainbow is coming out of the horizon. Do not give up, keep your hope alive. Keep a smile on your face, even if your prayers seem unanswered. The God of the Rainbow is not dead. He sent me a rainbow to remind me that He is still on the throne and in charge of everything. Your case is not bigger than him. Nothing happens to you without his consent. A new dawn is about to break. Keep your hope alive.
“And this hope will not lead to disappointment. For we know how dearly God loves us, because he has given us the Holy Spirit to fill our hearts with his love.” Romans 5:5 (NLT)
